Ennio Morricone and 100 Years of Cinema
A titan in the world of film music, the late Italian composer Ennio Morricone is the inspiration behind an afternoon of iconic scores – including his compositions for The Good, the Bad and the Ugly; Once Upon a Time in the West; Cinema Paradiso – plus music from hits like Gladiator, Titanic, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars.
Founded over 20 years ago, the Madrid Philharmonic Orchestra performs regularly at some of the most prestigious venues in Spain and has worked with celebrated musicians including Krystian Zimerman, Nicola Benedetti, Alexei Volodin, Boris Andrianov, Radovan Vlatkovic and Maxim Rysanov.

Founded 25 years ago, The Madrid Philharmonic Orchestra offers around 120 concerts every year, in venues such as the Auditorio Nacional (Madrid), Palau de la Música (Barcelona), Kursaal (San Sebastián).
